Fantasy Fusion Bellydance: Space Exploration with Olivia

Monday: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Let the mysteries of the universe fuel your creativity! This unique bellydance series is all about exploration and discovery, drawing inspiration from the vastness of space. We’ll dance to an eclectic mix of music— from slow and mystical to dramatic orchestral scores, plus iconic sci-fi soundtracks from film and TV.

Perfect for lovers of bellydance, the cosmos, and science fiction, this class offers a fun and imaginative approach to movement.✨🌌

Masala Bhangra®
with Olivia

Masala Bhangra® is an Indian-dance based program, designed for people of all ages and fitness levels who love to stay physically active. Masala Bhangra® is an ACE, AFAA and AFLCA approved program. Specifically, it introduces high energy Bhangra and Bollywood dance movements in an easy-to-follow fitness format, and is a mechanism by which thousands of people have been moved, touched and inspired to become physically active. With the dance choreography directly influenced by the music and dance of modern Bhangra and Bollywood styles, Masala Bhangra® is a fresh and exciting addition to the world of fitness and dance.

Masala Bhangra® can be danced barefoot, with non-slip socks, or with indoor only shoes. If you wear shoes please select a pair with a light colored sole that will not scuff the dance floor. Please select shoes that have a clean sole that are not worn outside, as others in the class will be barefoot and we don’t want them stepping on debris etc tracked in from outside. Please wear comfortable dance attire and bring water and a small towel, as you will be sweating!

Technique Tune-up: Bellydance Level 2
with Melanya

Tuesday: 6:30 PM to 7:30pm

Enhance your dance! Sharpen isolations, add layering, include traveling steps, build fun combos, and more in this course! Designed for students with a strong background in the fundamentals of belly dance movement vocabulary, this class will refine your techniques and take your dance artistry to the next level. 
 
This course renews monthly, with a new theme or focus each month. 
 
 

Drum Solo Bellydance Choreography
with Melanya

Tuesday: 7:30 PM to 8:30pm

Using raqs sharqui movement vocabulary and stylizations, we will study rhythms, drill combinations, and practice improvisations to build a unique and zesty drum solo choreography! 
 
Practice technique, refine your ears, and add finesse to your transitions as we bring the much-loved classic bellydance drum solo to life. 
 
 

SharQui® Bellydance Fitness with Kim

Get ready to shake, sweat, and smile with SharQui®, the original bellydance fitness workout! This high-energy, fun, and empowering class blends authentic bellydance with cardio, giving you a full-body workout that builds strength, stamina, and confidence.

SharQui® is accredited by AAFA, ACE, and NASM, making it a safe and effective workout for all levels—whether you’re brand new to belly dance or a seasoned shimmier!

Barefoot Flamenco
with Kim

🔥 Rumba Flamenca – Fun, Sassy, and Full of Rhythm! 🔥

This March and April, dive into the lively and passionate world of Rumba Flamenca! This high-energy, joyful style of Flamenco is all about expressive movement, fluid skirt work, and infectious rhythms. Rather than focusing on heavy footwork, we’ll use the entire body to embody the playful, earthy sensuality of Flamenco.

In this class, you’ll learn:
💃 A vibrant and sassy Rumba Flamenca choreography
🥁 Rhythmic training to master the signature Rumba groove
👗 Elegant and dynamic skirt techniques (bring a long, flowy skirt if you have one!)
✨ Stage presence and expressive arm and hand movements

No prior dance experience needed—just bring your energy and love for movement! If you don’t have a skirt, no worries—I’ll have some available for you.

Flamenco: Sevillanas II
with Kim

Wednesday: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Step into the rhythm and spirit of Sevillanas, one of Spain’s most beloved community dances! This open-level class welcomes absolute beginners and experienced dancers alike, guiding you through the four coplas (sections) of Sevillanas with grace, rhythm, and confidence. In April, we will continue our study of Sevillanas and learn the third and fourth coplas. Because each class builds on the other, drop-ins are not available for this class. 
 
In this class, you will:
✨ Learn and refine the basic steps, arm movements, and turns of the Sevillanas
🎶 Dance to traditional Sevillanas music, embracing its festive energy
🤝 Practice partnered and solo sequences, perfect for feria celebrations or social dancing
 
No partner required! Whether you’re new to dance or looking to polish your technique, this class is designed to be fun, dynamic, and welcoming for all.
 
👠 Recommended: Flamenco shoes or sturdy footwear
💃 All levels welcome – modifications provided for each skill level

What is this class about?
This is a low impact movement class focusing on mobility, breathwork, flexibility, and stretching. Movements vary between standing, sedentary, or prone, so use of a mat is required.
